St. Bridget and St. Thomas is based in Wavertree - South Liverpool, bordering Toxteth and Allerton. The parish is designated a UPA (Urban Priority Area) area and the church seeks to be active in service to this community.

There is a brownie pack for girls from 8 -11 which meets on Tuesdays in the church.Most other groups meet in the old school building next to the church, which we call 'The Lighthouse' The groups for youngsters from 11 - 16 are known as Wildfire. They have a fun time but also learn to grow in faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. 
We have a particular concern for the Older People of the parish, especially those who live alone. Our Evergreens Friendship group gives them the opportunity to socialise, keep healthy and have fun. On Wednesdays a group of local people meet to chat and share ideas They are known as the History Group because they originally met to study local history. Now their agenda is much broader Those who like to  Knit and Natter. meet on a Saturday morning.Recently 'Drama @ the Lighthouse' has been introduced for most age groups. We have House Groups in which we encourage each other to study the Bible.
